Food Runner/Busser:  This entry-level position is one of the most important at Nine Irish Brothers.  A "runner" performs several vital functions, including basic food preparation, quality control, and customer service.  This is a great position to learn the ropes of the business and get paid well doing it (our runner-bussers are often promoted to expediter and/or server positions).  Runners are in the unique and rewarding position of working with virtually every other job class in the restaurant.  Running is a fast-paced and fun.

Server:  What does it take to be a server at Nine Irish Brothers? We could list off a thousand different characteristics of an ideal candidate (in fact, we did list a few in the job description below).  But let us tell you a little about our staff.  Our successful servers are:

• Friendly, upbeat and good natured people who are outgoing and interested in helping other people. 
• Hard working and smart.  
• Motivated to please the customer and competitive in nature.  Our servers have a desire to be the best at what they do, and they want Nine Irish Brothers to be the best damn Irish pub out there.
• Knowledgeable about our products and able and willing to learn about new products and new ways to get the job done.  Intrinsically motivated to succeed and improve.
• Team players who help each other out and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Responsible, punctual and honest.
• Available: We are currently looking for servers to fill mixed shifts (both day and night availability), both part-time and full time.  (Note to students: We love student workers, but you must have some weekday daytime (10 AM - 4 PM) availability.) 
• Experienced?  Not necessarily.  Some of our best employees have had no experience in the business, but others have had extensive experience.

Cook: We carry a full menu and pride ourselves on providing excellent products and services. Our back-of-house staff are focused and hardworking and are able to provide timely, high-quality product in a high-volume environment. We're looking for a full or part-time line/prep cook. Experience not necessary but preferred. The ideal candidate will be familiar with fry, grill, and saute station operation, have excellent knife skills, and pay attention to detail. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food sanitation preferred.
