Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub

Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day

Saturday, March 14, marks the kick-off to St. Patrick's Day season, and Nine Irish Brothers will be celebrating all week long.  Nine Irish Brothers on the Eastside will be featuring a kick-off celebration all day on Saturday the 14th, and will be featuring live music (click here for Saturday's event schedule), giveaways and door prizes.

Both locations will be dressed in Green on Tuesday, March 17 and will feature great live music all day (click here for Tuesday's event schedule) best costume contests, and more.  Both locations will open their doors at 10 AM for breakfast.

And don't forget Greater Lafayette’s third annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The parade will start at Riehle Plaza in downtown Lafayette at 11 AM and will cross the pedestrian bridge into West Lafayette. A “best Irish” contest will be held at 10:45. Participants and spectators over the age of 21 can warm up beforehand with an Irish coffee at Tippecanoe County’s oldest Irish pub, Nine Irish Brothers, which opens at 10 AM and will be featuring the best in Irish entertainment all day long.  “You won’t find a better lineup of entertainment anywhere else in Indiana,” says O’Bryan.

O’Bryan’s Nine Irish Brothers, located on Howard Avenue in the Levee, serves traditional Irish fare, Guinness by the pint, and features live music and the friendly, up-beat atmosphere typical of Irish pubs world-wide. “We’re providing something you can’t find anywhere else,” says owner Jerry O’Bryan, “our pub is just like stepping into Ireland.” Nine Irish Brothers, home of the "best pint of Guinness in the United States" according to the makers of Guinness, won't be serving green beer, but they will feature a host of award-winning Irish and specialty beers.

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, both Nine Irish Brothers locations will be opening early at 10 AM on Saturday, March 21 and on Tuesday, March 17, and will be a 21 and over venue both days.

Patrons are advised to avoid parking in the Levee Plaza lots but rather to use the Wabash Landing parking garage or the pub’s valet service.
