Roger Drawdy and the Firestarters are an energetic Celtic rock group that features many great original tunes as well as some of the best rock arrangements of traditional songs we've heard, and we're happy to have them back Saturday July 25 at 9 PM.

Irish Singer/Songwriter Roger Drawdy and his band the Firestarters play a mix of Traditional and original music with a distinctive sound. "Air punching acoustic rockers" is how Irish Music Magazine described The Firestarters' intensity. Thought provoking lyrics, haunting melodies, and thunderous live performances are the keys to their success. The Firestarters formed in 2000 and have played in numerous venues throughout the US. The Firestarters have released five CD's: "The "Emancipated Hostage" in 2000, "Touched by the Sun" in 2001, "Live Fire" in 2003, "Open Seas, Empty Skies" in 2005 and their very latest release "Hallowed Ground" in November, 2007. Lafayette: Highland Reign

Highland Reign, a band known for their high-octane, hard-driving Celtic rock tunes, returns to Nine Irish Brothers in Lafayette on Saturday, July 25 at 8 PM. From Indianapolis, this band takes the tunes of the old country and breathes new life into them, with traditionals such as "The Scolding Wife" to originals such as "Down the Pint." This band brings the union to traditional Celtic and good ol' rock and roll to pleasing new levels.
