NINE IRISH BROTHERS WINS BEST PINT OF GUINNESS IN THE UNITED STATES
Diageo, the makers of Guinness, have concluded their comprehensive nationwide survey to determine which establishment in the United States pours the best pint.
The voluntary survey, which was administered in real time via SMS texting, asked participants to rate their pint of Guinness according to ten different criteria, including quality, taste, and presentation.
Nine Irish Brothers will be closed on Thursday, November 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Monday, April 28, 2008, Nine Irish Brothers will be partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to raise money for cystic fibrosis research. Cystic fibrosis is the number one genetic killer of children and young adults: Over 30,000 people in the US have it, and many more are carriers of the gene (you need both recessive genes to be affected). Currently, the average life expectancy is 37 years, which has risen almost 2 years in the last year. Twenty years ago many children didn’t live to see adulthood.
